Grapes Are Growing Bigger
(Installed on 2026/06/06. No.433)

I took the photo on June 6th. It rained and I found the trellis is warped with heavy watered vines and leaves. It was announced yesterday the rainy season had set in this area. I have to take measures to meet the new situation. tomohiro's grapes20260609.jpg

Rain Water Catcher
(Installed on 2026/05/26. No.433)

I could finally trace how a big water puddle is formed on the shed floor after a rain. The puddle had been formed with rain water reaked down through fine gaps between the tin roof and the ventilator pipe. I had surmised the water was blown in by the wind through the gaps between the galvanized iron sheet wall and the concrete floor. I'm waiting for the next rain. rain water catcher.jpg

Grapes Started Bulging
(Installed on 2026/05/26. No.432)

The grapes to which I took the measures for the first time to cope with anthracnose started bulging. It took me ten years to learn the reason why the prapes had mummified before ripening. It's been ten years since Tomohiro died. We must succeed to offer the beautiful grapes on his altar. tomohiro's grapes202605.jpg

Dredging May 2026
(Installed on 2026/05/14. No.430)

I did the waterway dredging, my established yearly custom work at this time and in early autumn. The sludge was less than I expected. However the disposition of the weed and tall and hard vegetable trees after harvest took my time and energy a lot. Nevertheless I could do the work again! dredging20260512.jpg

Teeth Curved Blade
(Installed on 2026/03/22. No.425)

I made a new teeth curved blade for my push cutter. With the new blade the cutter got a new biting character. It made my cutting work more effective and comfortable. The encircled photo shows the original blade.

We found an unfamiliar beer can on the tomb. I supposed it was from a friend of our late son who shared time enjoying drinking with him. Thank you for the offering.

(Installed on 2026/02/19. No.422)

Feb.19 was the tenth aniversary of Tomohiro's death. We found beautiful new flowers offered to the grave. The bunches were somehow familiar to us. We supposed they must have been offered by someone we knew. Thank you for the visit and the beautiful flowers.

Repairing And Improving The Sink Light Switch
(Installed on 2025/01/06. No.420)

Years ago I replaced the LED light switch above sink from a broken touch sensor switch to a toggle push switch. However it wasn't user friendly. So I improved it as shown in the photo attaching a plate. Switching became much easier.
